Halloween is celebrated on October 31st.
It started as an ancient Celtic festival called Samhain, where people would light bonfires and wear costumes to scare away ghosts.

Today, it’s a fun holiday where children and adults dress up in costumes, decorate with spooky themes, and go trick-or-treating to get candy from neighbors."

ハロウィンは10月31日に祝われるお祭りです。
もともとはサウィンというケルトの古代の祭りが起源で、人々はかがり火を焚いたり仮装をして幽霊を追い払おうとしました。

現在では、子供も大人も仮装をしたり、
怖いテーマで飾り付けをしたり、
トリック・オア・トリートで近所からお菓子をもらったりして
楽しむ行事になっているよ。
